Water waste can be a natural fertilizer for Phytoplankton.

Phytoplankton then can be used for Zooplankton’s cultivation or as direct natural feed.

New tool, the phytoplankton Metabarcoding Biotic Index (b-MBI), identifies the phytoplankton present in the water samples.

It then compares the phytoplankton species found in the sample with eDNA sense’s DNA library.

Our computer programme then generates an enrichment score which can be used for reporting, meeting consent conditions or general surveillance.

Our ecology scientists have the expertise to undertake catchment-to-coast assessments of water pollution, aquaculture, and monitoring potential effects of human activities on our environment.

Use the EcoSense Biotik Index (b-MBI) tool to measure
the enrichment status of aquaculture sites.

We can also assist with measuring biodiversity.
